⁡⁡
⁡We all made it through two days of intense and rewarding practice! ✨️🏒
On Day 1, we focused on handling the ball carefully and building a strong foundation 😊 Our goal as a team is for everyone to feel confident playing with bouncing balls and enjoy the game without fear! 😏︎
Day 2 was different from the first, with many more participants joining us for some seriously competitive, high-level games! 🔥 It was amazing to see the kids putting their handling skills to use, battling against adults by shielding the ball with their bodies, escaping pressure, making passes, and taking powerful shots. These two days really showed how much everyone has grown! 😘
The boys were definitely fast, making the games exciting but exhausting too… 😂
With an upcoming tournament, we're incredibly grateful for the opportunity to practice at such a high level. Thank you so much to everyone who joined us! 🙏☺
And girls, we'd love to see more of you at FLAPPERS! 👭🫶
⁡ Everyone is welcome! 🏒✨

⁡⁡
⁡half of the season! 🏒🔥
We had lots of members join us from outside the team, making it an exciting and inspiring start to the new half of the season!
A haiku for today:
⁡
⁡Net shakes
Fist punches through the sky
Autumn clouds drift by⁡
⁡
This haiku captures the scene of a goal celebration, with a fist pumping into the crisp autumn sky. 🍂
We’ll keep this energy and passion going and continue pushing forward together as one team throughout the second half of the season!
Thank you so much to everyone who joined us today! 🙌
We look forward to seeing you again!

⁡⁡
⁡Today’s practice was packed with lots of games! ⚔️
We also introduced the Swedish-style game format to practice timing our substitutions. It was a great opportunity to work on things that we don’t usually get to teach during regular practice. 🫡More and more members are gradually getting used to keeping their heads up while playing, and we’re also seeing more individuality in everyone’s playing style.
When all of those different styles come together as one team, we can create some really fun hockey! 😉🏑
Recently, we’ve also seen more players challenging the adults and giving their all regardless of gender. Flappers is definitely growing! 🤭🔥
We’ll keep working hard together so that everyone can improve, while surviving our tough… but fun practices! 💨

Definitely check it out! 😂

⁡⁡
⁡⁡Today’s practice focused on keeping our heads up while playing, together with some new members who joined us! 🤗🏑
We practiced ball-handling without looking directly at the ball. It was challenging for both kids and adults, with the ball often slipping off the stick! 😑
We were already able to see some elementary school players making passes with their heads up during the games. It was great to see the results so quickly! ✨
Even the basics can be difficult, so Flappers will keep working hard on the fundamentals and improving the small details! 😊🔥⁡

⁡⁡
⁡September practices for Flappers are officially underway! 👏
Despite the rain, everyone from elementary school kids to adults came together, had a great time, and worked up a good sweat! 🫠💦
Lately, we’ve been seeing more and more players watching each other’s play, learning from one another, and incorporating what they’ve learned into their own game. It’s a great reminder of what makes team sports so special! 😘
A big thank you to everyone who joined practice even with a game coming up soon! 🙌
We’re looking forward to hearing some great news from you! ☺️

⁡⁡
⁡Yesterday was the last practice of summer vacation for our elementary and junior high school members! ☀️
In the morning, everyone worked hard and pushed themselves during practice. Then, in the afternoon, we all went to support the members who were playing in the Kanto League! 🚗³₃
Since some of our members will be entering junior high school next year, it was also a great opportunity for them to watch the games, learn from the players, and experience the atmosphere of an official league match.
During practice, it was really impressive to see everyone trying different things to improve their skills, as well as watching them get better and better after receiving advice from the adults! 💪✨
At the league game, we got to see a side of our members that we normally don't get to see—their serious and passionate attitude as they competed! Watching an official game in person was also a great learning experience, and everyone in the cheering group had a lot of fun supporting them! ꉂꉂ📣
Even after pushing themselves during morning practice and cheering in the afternoon, no one looked tired at all! Everyone stayed energetic and cheerful all the way back in the cars, making it feel like a little summer event for everyone. 👍
We hope that everyone can take even a little of what they thought and felt from watching the game in person and use it to improve from here on out.
We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone continue to grow through practice and, hopefully, seeing those improvements on the game floor! 😊
